Top iPad Apps, Day 3

Moconews just ran a a brief story about how most of the branded iPad apps are free but then Techcrunch posted simultaneously that 80% percent of iPad apps now available are paid (2523 apps total). I think that most brands are just waiting to see how this paid app thing works out for WSJ…

Global Expansion

That’s 2/3 of the global population – roughly 4.6 billion people. In 2002 it was 1 billion. The penetration in developing parts of the world is as high at 57% – no wonder Google and MS keep going on and on about how they’re no longer focusing on the desktop.
